The Amherst Southeast Asian Student Association (Amherst SEASA) aims to provide a space on campus for students who identify as Southeast Asian or would like to learn more about the vibrant culture of Southeast Asia, which is unique and markedly different from other East or South Asian cultures. We aim to provide a space where students can reflect on their identity as a Southeast Asian, a rich culture that at times has been largely subsumed into more visible Asian cultures.

SEASA is committed to creating a community that can act as a supportive network amongst its members. All members must be treated with equal dignity and respect, and bullying and hazing will not be tolerated to any degree. We are committed to creating a space where members feel free to express their opinions and reflect on their experiences.
